About Little Light Collective

Hi, I’m Jessie, the heart and hands behind Little Light Collective. And this is my favorite team: my family.
Little Light Collective was born on our family room couch, inspired by my son, our faith, and the joy we find in creating things together. What started as matching family shirts (like the ones we designed together for Thanksgiving) grew into something deeper: a way to share light, meaning, and connection through everyday pieces you can wear and use. Our designs are often rooted in the things we value most; faith, family, traditions, gratitude, music, inside jokes, movies, holidays, special occasions homemade meals, game nights, and cheering each other on. These shirts weren’t just made for us; they were made with us, reminding me that creativity is best when it’s shared. 
I was born and raised right here in Lincoln, Nebraska, and building a small business in the community that raised me means more than I can put into words. I love being a Wife and Mom, cooking homemade meals, being active outside, swimming and camping with my family, sitting by a fire, and I love being creative. All my life having an outfit or custom shirt for every occasion was always important to me.
My husband Henry and I have been married for 11 years. Henry is a U.S. Army Veteran and works as a shop foreman at a local, family-owned automotive repair shop. Henry is truly the heart behind our family matching. He was the one who started the tradition before we were even married! What began as a fun idea to always coordinate and match turned into something meaningful that now defines so much of this brand.
You’ll often find Henry behind the scenes helping me set up the shop, weeding designs, offering opinions, and jumping into the creative process; especially for our Veterans Collection and Dad Life Collection, which are close to his heart.
After we had our son Charlie, coordinating outfits and matching shirts became an everyday tradition for us! Charlie is 7 years old and in second grade, he is an impressive piano player for such a young age, level 3 green belt in taekwondo, and loves to play baseball, especially since Mom and Dad coach his team! And Charlie absolutely loves being part of the creative process. He’s constantly asking for special shirts for every occasion and enjoys helping brainstorm designs, reminding me that creativity comes from the heart. 
Every piece I create is made with intention, love, and a personal touch, because behind Little Light Collective is a real family, real memories, and a whole lot of heart. My hope is that when you purchase something from our shop, it feels like more than a product...it feels like home.
